2019 WLASA Kids Fishing Tournament Recap
This year's contest saw 195 participants! All families were treated to pizza and drinks as well as entered to win amazing prizes. Each child received a goody bag filled with fishing lures and supplies. Medals were given out to the Top Ten weigh ins! The grand prize of a fishing charter was won by a 5 year old from Twin Lake, which was very kindly donated by
Captains Jen and Dominic Ferels of Dominator Sports Fishing Charters.
Thank you to all of the volunteers that make this event possible!

Spring Walleye Rearing
WLASA volunteers assisted the Michigan DNR in introducing walleye fry to our rearing pond in North Muskegon. During the next six weeks, we provided feed to the pond on a weekly basis. Over 500,000 walleye fingerlings were harvested for introduction in area lakes. This included a total of 150,000 fingerlings to White Lake!
Thank you to the WLASA volunteers for your time and energy to make this happen!
A Very Special Thank you to
